Privacy Policy CSK Couriers may use any details you provide to contact you in regards to your requested delivery quotation based on the information you provide. In the first instance we will send you a delivery quote via email; we may also contact you by Phone or Text Messaging regarding your delivery quotation. CSK Couriers may also use any details you have provide to contact you in the future with any offer, discounts relating to our courier and delivery services. CSK Couriers may occasionally use your details to provide you with details relating to offers from third parties. You can request to be removed from our lists at any time. Please respond to any email or text message with the word "Stop". CSK Couriers will NOT give or sell your details to any third party company. Terms and Conditions. General Information:- The price we provided for eBay items and non urgent deliveries is based on the information you have provided. Collection and delivery usually within 14 days of making a booking on a day and at a time we specify. Collection and delivery may take up to 28 days in certain areas or at busy times. Any times and dates given are a guideline only and not guaranteed. Collection from inside the collection location and delivery to inside the delivery location where adequate access is available. E.g. the driver will help carry a sofa into your living room. This service is provided at the driver’s discretion, the driver may decline to enter any premises or property to help with loading/unloading at any location at anytime without giving a reason. Full payment is still payable. If the driver enters any property at your request, the driver does so without accepting any responsibility for any damage/harm caused to property or persons whilst on the property. You accept full responsibility for any damage/harm to any property/person at both collection and delivery locations. We accept no responsibility for the condition of items purchased through eBay, other auction sites, other second hand items or any item unpackaged, packaged, new or second-hand from other third parties. Delivery charges are payable at all time even if the item is not as described by the seller. We recommend you view in person, all items before making your purchase. You are responsible for the payment for the purchase of any item you ask CSK Couriers to collect and deliver. Please make sure payment has been made before we arrive to collect the item as you are still required to pay the full delivery charges if we are not allowed to collect the item due to payment not being made for the item. CSK Couriers will NOT make payment for your item on your behalf and then collect the payment from you** Whilst we try to collect and deliver all items using our own vehicles, at busy times, to keep collection and delivery times to a minimum, we may use self employed owner driver or other courier businesses to complete some of our deliveries. The drivers are checked by CSK Couriers and provide the same high standard of service. All our terms and conditions still apply. Insurance:- Goods in Transit Insurance up to £250.00 is automatically included to cover your delivery whilst being transported. Your delivery is covered for Loss only i.e. If we lose your item your delivery will be covered. If the van is in a collision and your item is destroyed your item will be covered by the insurance. EBay sellers do not always declare all faults and damage when listing their items. We cannot verify the condition of any item collected by our drivers is the same as the condition of the item as declared in the listings. As a result, Your item will not be covered for marks/ scratches/ chips/ dents/ knocks/ bangs / cracks / broken parts/ faulty workings/ non working items & any other kind of damage or faults whether the item is new/ used / packaged or unpackaged . When making any claim for loss of item, proof of purchase and payment for the item must be produced, i.e. eBay sale receipt and PayPal receipt. Proof of collection must also be made. Payments will only be made for the value on the PayPal receipt for your item up to a maximum amount of £250.00 per delivery. Payment is maximum £250.00 per lost delivery and not each individual lost item. This insurance applies only if no other cover applies. Your own House contents insurance or credit card company may already cover you for lost in transit or damaged items. Handling / Collecting /Delivering:- Every care is taken when Handling/Loading/Unloading and Transporting your possessions but accidents can happen. We accept no responsibility for any damage too or loss of your possessions or damage to any property when conducting the collection /delivery of item/s from / to any premises or property. We do NOT offer insurance to cover such eventualities. We suggest you purchase insurance to cover any losses which you may incur, from your House Contents Insurance Company. Your policy may already cover moving house/furniture items. Your Credit Card Company may also provide you with this cover when using their card. By booking with CSK Couriers, you the person making the booking, agree to provide your own insurance and will NOT hold CSK Couriers responsible for any damage to ANY property or ANY damage to your items however it was caused. You accept responsibility for injury or death to any person and any damage to property, however caused whilst CSK Couriers are collecting or delivering any item on your behalf at both collection and delivery locations. If CSK Couriers have tried to make a delivery or collection and nobody is at the address we will use the contact number for that location to clarify the situation. If it is possible, the driver will wait and additional waiting time may be added to the cost. If waiting is not an option recollection or redelivery charges will apply. This may result in the original full delivery charge being charged + the full delivery charge for the recollection or redelivery. The total amount including any extra charges is payable in full to CSK Couriers. If payment has been made by PayPal payment prior to collection you will be invoiced for any additional charges, payment will need to be made within 7 days of invoice date. Non payment will result in additional charges being added with further action taken for the recovery of the outstanding balance. Pricing:- Each collection and delivery is individually priced based on collection/delivery locations, distance between locations, and type of item, size and weight of item as you have provided. Failure to disclose any relevant information may result in additional charges being applied to your quoted delivery cost. Delivery price includes up to 10mins loading/waiting time on collection and 10mins unloading/waiting time on delivery. Additional time will be charged at £7.00 per each 15mins or part of. This additional payment will be required on delivery of your item or we may invoice you for these charges. Payment is due within 7 days of invoice date. For EBay items /single items or small removals a fixed price may be given based on the information you provided when requesting your quotation. Failure to fully disclose all relevant information may result in extra charges being applied. Small Removals may be charged at a Per Hour Rate + a mileage Charge. Minimum 2 hours. We reserve the right to add any additional fees to the delivery charge stated if... Collection/delivery/waiting time is more than than 10 mins at either location. Any non standard access has not been declared when asking for a quote. I.e. Flats above ground floor. The item is larger or heavier than stated when making your booking. The item has to be returned to collection location for any reason. The item has to be re-delivered after we have called and confirmed delivery arrangements and no one was available to accept delivery. Payment Methods:- Cash. Paid to the driver on collection or delivery. This may not be an option for all eBay collections or removals. PayPal account. Payment can be made using funds in your PayPal account. Funds must clear before collections or removals commences. Cancellation:- As CSK Couriers contacts the collection location directly you may be unaware of the planned collection date and time. You must speak to someone who will confirm the cancellation. Messages on our answering machines will not count as a cancellation of your booking! Emails will not count as cancellation of your booking until you have actually called in person and spoken to CSK Couriers If you cancel within 24 Hours of collection time a 50% charge of the total fee will be payable. If no cancellation notice is given a 100% charge of total fee is payable. It is your responsibility when making a booking with CSK Couriers to make sure all parties are aware of these terms and conditions. |
